Wilderness Therapy
for those who are ready to step off the beaten path
Not everyone feels comfortable opening up to a therapist while sitting in an office.
If you are the type of person that opens up and feels a greater connection to purpose and meaning when taking a walk or sitting around a campfire, this style of therapy is right for you.
Recognizing that different people have different starting points, we offer a range of services to fit various needs and learning styles. Here are a few that might be right for you.
Survival Skills
Your first step is to build fundamental skills of safety and survival, so you can begin to feel more comfortable in nature. By building wilderness skills, the natural environment becomes more inviting and opens the door to developing greater awareness.

He has extensive formal training in wilderness survival and awareness skills, having completed a year-long residency program in Washington and numerous training series in New Jersey. His ease and natural talent are apparent from the very first class. Daniel doesn’t just teach wilderness engagement; he IS wilderness engagement.
Andrew BE has a Masters Degree in Business Administration, but much prefers the world of plants and animals to spreadsheets and financial reports. He has a talent for engaging with students, which he has honed over 20 years of teaching. Andrew’s often uncanny awareness and connection with the wilderness is inspiring, and his ability to help students deal with the issues inhibiting their growth is profound.
