A Relatable Guide
Mary Beth Luedtke
LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR CANDIDATE
Mary Beth completed her Masters in Counseling Education from Adams State University in May 2023. She has a B.A. from Marquette University and a Special Education teaching certificate from Georgia College. With a twenty-year career in education and professional development, Mary Beth brings a wealth of experience to BEing There.
We have a defining expectation of all our therapists at BEing There: Practice what you preach.
Our clients put their trust in us to be able to guide them through the challenges they face. We can only earn and honor this trust by living the skills we teach, battle-testing them every day in our own lives, and continuously improving ourselves and our methods in order to effectively guide others.
Mary Beth Luedtke does not fit the mold of a traditional therapist. She didn’t pursue a career in counseling as a twenty-something living in a dorm room. She doesn’t have decades of experience providing treatment in a clinical setting.
But it is largely because of these things that she so beautifully complements the work of the other therapists at BEing There, and brings a special skillset to the practice.
Mary Beth has lived the challenges of building a meaningful career, faced the hard reality that a healthy marriage is built through dedication and work, and balanced being a professional and a mother to raise self-responsible children. She has done this through her own pursuit of the skills necessary to create a harmonious life.
Professionally, Mary Beth has always existed on the periphery of guiding others, beginning with a career in special education, and ascending through several executive positions at humanistic organizations. But it was through facing her own challenges head-on that she realized her true calling was not on the periphery of helping others in various arenas, but rather directly in heart of personal development work.
If you want a skilled professional guide who is relatable, connectable, and can translate psychological principles into practical application, Mary Beth is that guide.
